The Spending Stack is the fun stack!
Ways to use this stack
1. Buy fun things you want
2. Buy gifts for friends and family
3. Add it to one of the other stacks
Buy good quality because it lasts longer.
Shop around to compare prices; sometimes you can get the same item for a lower price!
Make sure you really want it. Will you still like that toy next week?
Be generous and smart too. It's ok to spend some of your money on gifts for your friends and family, but you can also give gifts that don't cost money such as handmade gifts, giving hugs or offering to help!
Spend your money in ways that make you happy and bring a smile to your face.
Never spend more money than you have!
Remember: Just because you can buy it or spend it, doesn't mean you should.
Smart Spending or Not?
I really wanted the new squishy toy so I went to the toy store with my mom after school and bought it. It cost $12 and I only had $10 so I promised to pay my Mom $2 later.
I finally bought the pair of sneakers that I've wanted for so long! They cost $99, so I had to save up for them. I'm excited that I'll be able to use them for many years because they're made of really good material.
Today was a nice day. The sun was out and it was the perfect day for ice cream. My friend and I walked to the ice cream shop and I bought each of us our favorite ice cream flavor. I even left a tip in the tip jar.
